It was an excellent stay, exceptionally comfortable place. The location was marvellous and incredible, not far from Conference Centre as well as all tourist attractions, museums and restaurants. Btw, the venue was right at Vietnam House Art Gallery.

Staff was very, very nice and accommodating and hotel is spotless and wonderful! The breakfast was good - a great selection of dishes. We were in a particularly good location a 10-15 minute walk from Charlotte Square. Furthermore, back to the airport...

The hotel had marvellous location next to all major attractions and Tram station. Popped in Haymarket for shots before sleep, it was within walking distance of the venue.

My 10 year old son an d I stayed for four nights at the Lairg. Everything was simply perfect. Just a 10 minutes walk to the very center of the town , we appreciated especially the tasteful decoration of the rooms, the cleanliness and the friendly and helpful staff. And the brakfast, of course. You don't need lunch after it.. I'm sure we'll be back with the whole family!

Amazing hotel with free Wi-Fi, a tv, and an electric kettle. The staff once recommended a great local delivery service, which I still remember. I highly recommend staying here for a city trip.

High standard of bedroom; design and comfort. Breakfast very good, with a good selection, but would like a bit more variety on the plate when the vegetarian option is chosen.

It was a good fit for our weekend trip in Edinburgh with fantastic value. The breakfast was definitely a highlight and perked up our mornings. Check on parking options beforehand to save some time.

Staff friendly - room very clean if not big - breakfast good
Parking is a real problem - especially if you arrive before 6 and want to leave after 8 in the morning - due to current tram works roads were chaotic in the area

The room we were given was very comfortable, spacious, and with lots of light. The staff was very good and provided an excellent service. The breakfast was good too. I would always recommend it to anyone, on a budget, looking for a comfortable stay. Location is good too.
At times there is quite a delay when you order breakfast. The internet was sloe, and you get connected only in certain areas.
